Rico - RIP

Rico - RIP's Bio at the Time of Adoption:

1/3 Rico was found in a field passed away from a bullet wound. A kind man contacted the owner from his tag information and said Rico did not suffer in his passing. Thank you to all the people helping to search for Rico and our thoughts are with Rico's family.

12/27 Rico was seen at Texas Roadhouse Restaurant. It seems he is running the fields/woods from there to Clinton Avenue. He will not come to people and you should not chase Rico. You might try laying down or facing the other direction and calling his name with food. He probably will not come to you but any sighting is VERY helpful. He is wearing a southwestern style collar in browns and turquoise and when he got loose had a blue leash attached which he still has on but the bulk of it is chewed off. (Update: this sighting might be a false lead and a dog in that neighborhood)

12/24 Rico was seen in the field behind the Waffle Shop on N. Atherton St. and near Joel Confer's at the end of Clinton Avenue. Please call 814-360-9761 with any sightings of Rico. He has been gone a long time.

12/10 Rico seems to be sticking to the area from Radio Park Elem. to the College Heights neighborhood. He is seen mostly at dusk or early evening and may approach another dog. He loves other dogs.

12/7 Sighting 5:30pm on Arbor Way off N. Atherton St. (College Heights)

12/3 Sighting at Blue Course and College Ave.

12/1 There have been some sightings of Rico dragging his blue leash behind him near Rec Hall, Blue Course Drive and Science Park Road.

Rico got loose from his new owner on 11/29 at 6pm near Easterly Parkway Elementary School. He has on tags, collar and a leash. He may have been sighted near Blue Course Drive. Please call Heidi at 814-360-9761 if you see Rico. DO NOT CHASE HIM...he will only take off further.
