Tipper

Tipper

Tipper's Bio at the Time of Adoption:

Tipper is an approximately 7 year old male Sheltie mix. Nothing is known about his background as he is a stay. His foster mom can not say enough good things about him, though!
Tipper is a very sweet and laid back boy. He is very calm in the house and content just to hang out with his person. He is mostly housetrained, and does very well in his crate.
But do not let that fool you! Once outside, he is a very different pup. He is active and eager to go for a walk or a ride and to meet new people! He rides well in the car and has very nice leash manners. He gets quite vocal (as sheltie's do!) when excited about w-a-l-k-s and such, and his foster mom is working on that behavior.
Tipper would probably do best being an only dog in his home, as he is showing some signs of wanting to be "top dog" in his foster mom's home! He seems to enjoy meeting children, but due to his age, a home with older children or no children is recommended. Tipper would love a home where he would get a lot of "snuggle time", regular brushings, walks, car rides, and back scratches! Perhaps he is the pup for you? Tipper will be neutered before he is up-to-date on shots. ADOPTED 10/22/06
