Alfie and his sister, Tweety, were once part of the Looney Tunes Litter, famous among the volunteers for their escapades running around on top of the cages in the Cattery. Alfie and Tweety were adopted together and then returned to PAWS when their adopter could no longer care for them. They are probably quite bewildered at finding themselves out of a home and back where they came from, but they are just as much fun as the day they left! Stop by PAWS on Saturday or Sunday to get to know Alfie and Tweety!

At home, she was first to the door to say "hello." Living at PAWS full time seems to have made her a little shy and less outgoing, but we expect that when she moves into her forever home, she'll relax and greet her new family at the door just as she did in her foster home! - Abandoned in an apartment with her mom and siblings.
- Gentle, loves to be held!

Lily's mom and three siblings were adopted weeks ago, and poor little Lily is the left-behind kitten! Why? Maybe because when visitors come to PAWS to visit the kittens on weekends, Lily is taking a snooze, so people don't discover what a terrific, sweet-tempered kitten she is.

Lily lives in a foster home with other kittens and adults cats, as well as little kids, and she is wonderful and gentle with everyone. She likes to be the observer and watch what's going on. Lily will let her foster humans hold her like a baby as they walk around the house. They say she is just a great kitty and beautiful to boot!

Come to PAWS on Saturday or Sunday and, if she's snoozing, be sure to ask a volunteer to wake her up so you can take her into a "Meet & Greet" room for a cuddle!

At PAWS, families who foster kittens get to name them! Until a litter goes to a foster home, we often name them after the alphabet--"Kitten A," "Kitten B," and so forth. The NATO Kittens' foster mom decided to stick to the alphabet with a clever twist and used the NATO phonetic alphabet (also called the International Radiotelephony Spelling Alphabet). Who says you can't learn anything by reading the PAWS cat listings!

Bravo and Delta were adopted together and have their own listing on the 2014 Adopted Cats page. Alpha (Allie) is waiting for you to come visit her on Saturday or Sunday at PAWS.

When Scully came to PAWS, he was in pretty rough shape; clearly, he'd been outside for a long time. But his sweet disposition says he had a home at one time.

So c'mon, think about it. You need Scully as much as he needs you! March on down to PAWS on Saturday or Sunday and fill out an application for this wonderful guy!

Tess

Tess

Tess' Bio at the Time of Adoption:

Female-spayed
Domestic medium hair, part Sealpoint Himalayan
DOB: 9/10/2003

- May do well in a home with quiet kids.
- Does not care for other cats but might be OK in a quiet, one-cat household.
- We don't yet know if Tess gets along with dogs.
- Shy and still adjusting to her new surroundings.

Talk about bad luck! Tess has lost her home twice through no fault of her own. She was adopted as a kitten but after seven years, her owner's small children became allergic. She was adopted again but after two years in her new home, along came a new roommate who didn't get along with Tess.

She is a beautiful girl, part-Himalayan but looks more like a Snowshoe or Ragdoll since she has short hair.  She's got big beautiful blue eyes, mittened feet and a tiny white spot just under her nose.

In her previous stay at PAWS, Tess enjoyed attention and continued to talk when you petted her.  She had no bad habits, but she didn't like other cats and growled when they entered her room. At Centre Hall, she'll be with Vincent, who's very patient with female cats, so perhaps he'll win her over! She'll also meet Tig, the resident dog, as well as kids, so we'll update her listing as she meets all these new friends!

You can visit Tess at Centre Hall whenever they're open.

Domestic shorthair, brown tabby
DOB: ~ 7/21/10

- Should do well in a home with some cats (female probably best), and a cat-friendly, laid-back dog.
- We don't know if Vincent gets along with kids, but we plan to kid-test him and think he'll do fine with them!
- Stray - found with a number of other cats and kittens.
- Sweet temperament, loves to be petted, great purr!

Vincent is extremely outgoing and a lover! At Centre Hall Pet Supply, he LOVES to snuggle and receive hugs! He waits on the counter at the store, and when customers come over to check out, he leans into them and wants them to hug him! Outfitted with a HUGE purr, and a "meow" that likes to carry on a conversation, he brings smiles to people's faces!

We named this fella "Vincent" because he has a couple of cute little notches in both his ears; they're sort of fringed. Luckily, he has two ears, unlike his namesake, Vincent Van Gogh. So far, he hasn't demonstrated any artistic talent, but we haven't given Vincent his paper and paw paints yet. Stop by to meet Vincent, and you'll be charmed by this delightful guy!
